چکیده
A nonpathogenic strain of rat virus, L-S strain, was isolated from a Wistar rat bearing chloroleukemia. Five other chloroleukemic rats and 21 other tumor-bearing rats yielded no virus. The L-S virus grows on embryonic rat but not embryonic mouse tissue and produces a cytopathogenic effect (CPE) which is slightly different from that produced by Kilham's latent rat virus (RV).
